I recently moved to the area from out of state, and needed to find a trustworthy mechanic shop when my Subaru started having some issues. Luckily I found it! Everyone here is incredibly professional and sweet. The prices are awesome, and the speed at which they work? INSANE. They had my Subaru in and out the same day! I genuinely wasn't expecting that kind of lightening speed, but they don't play around! Now everything is running smooth as butter. Took my van to a shop car masters they told me what was wrong with my van but wanted 300 dollars more then these guys to fix it so I took it to mike here they said we are alil backed up but we will get you in and out that they did well the next day my power steering pump was leaking again they showed me the old part that car masters said was the problem I didn't expect this shop to do what they did but they did he said we wanna make things right and it wasnt even they fault so my van was a 3 hour job x2 and they got me in and out again my van is doing amazing thanks so much I highly recommend this shop great guys.- matt Thompson. 7/6/2019![]()

I brought my husbands 2018 Dodge Challenger R/T with Shaker into the dealership we bought it from for them to look at the breaks to have them inspect them because we heard a squeak. Wanted us to pay $1700 to replace all break pads and rotors. I took it here for a second opinion. Melissa helped me out, she was great ,and we discovered that everything was still brand new and the car didn't need any work done at all! 10/10 would recommend. I'll be going here from now on for any problems we have with our vehicles . And they didn't charge anything to look at the car, the dealer charged me $40 to even look at it. After years of using a dealer for car repairs, I finally found a company that is good at repairs, has great customer service, and can actually fix your car right the first time and in a reasonable amount of time. Best Auto Shop in Virginia! I wish I could give them 10 Stars. My daughter goes to school in Virginia and had problems with her car. We don't live in the area so we weren't sure where to go. She took her car here and apparently the brakes were so bad, she would have to sign a waiver to leave. The mechanic spoke to my husband and sent pictures too. The office manager, told my daughter, "As a mom, I don't recommend you drive this home because the car is not safe if the brakes and the wheel are not fixed". Also I can't remember the mechanic's name but he was very knowledgeable and advised me of other issues wrong with my vehicle that I was able to have fixed through my warranty. My truck was possessed and kept dying on me at random times. I had been through literally every ignition piece on this truck before i brought it in. I was stumped. The woman at the front desk, Melissa, went out, popped the hood, started my truck, and moved the battery cable. I never even noticed it was loose. She had the mechanic in the back tighten everything & it hasn't died since. This woman is a God Send- She didn't even charge me!!! Most places would have. I think I'm going to start using this place for all my cars. P.S. Melissa Is Smokin Hot. I went into this shop thinking I was going to get screwed over. I knew my transmission had been going out for a while and it finally broke. I was devastated. This was my only vehicle to get my kids to school and me to work. I called this place and I have never been so happy I did. Melissa was exceptional. She gave me options to rebuild or replace. I chose to just replace. I had called around to make sure the $2800 Melissa quoted was not far fetched (you know how some mechanic shops over charge and tack on fees). But the price here was $700-$800 less than anywhere else! She had said that there would be about a week turn around. They got my vehicle back to me in 4 days!!! I am so overjoyed that I found this place! Melissa & Mark are absolutely amazing. The customer Service was impeccable and I haven't had a problem with my car since. I have a 2001 Acura CL Type S that I will never get rid of. It has never given me any problems. Recently, I was having an issue with the car where it was downshifting on its own and was losing power. Over time the car had trouble shifting gears, once the car warmed up to normal operating temperature. Even though it doesn't look it, the car is 17 years old. The dealer was charging entirely too much for the repair. My next option was to take it to the well known transmission shop (with the commercial). Of course they welcomed me, but after leaving my car with them for a few days, they diagnosed my problem without even opening my transmission. They then wrote an estimate for a dollar amount which was only $200 less than the dealer and said it may be more, but they'll know more once they open it up. Frustrated, I searched the Hampton Roads area for a transmission repair company. A lot of companies I spoke with had a 'You need me...I don't need you...' attitude. But then I came across Executive Auto Repair. Paul was awesome. He really knows his car knowledge. He built a rapport with me from the start which made me comfortable. He explained that what I was experiencing was a common problem amongst Acura TL/CL. He gave me different scenarios on possible issues/outcomes, but of course the only way to diagnose the issue is to look at it. He offered towing, which was great, because at this point I didn't want to drive the car any longer. I had to pay an upfront fee, but if they did the work (which I knew they would because I was comfortable with them), then that amount would be deducted from the total balance. Not to mention, the estimate for repairs were very reasonable! Better than the dealer and better than that transmission company. I have to say, I AM VERY IMPRESSED AND THOROUGHLY SATISFIED WITH EXECUTIVE AUTO REPAIR!!!!!!!! My Acura CL Type S runs like it did years ago. The power has been revived and it shifts way smoother than it did when I first purchased it! The repairs only took a couple of days. Paul advised me of what I should expect and was available for any questions during the repair. To be completely honest, I never write these reviews, but they provided me with such outstanding care and service, this was the least I could do. Thank you EXECUTIVE AUTO REPAIR!!!! Honest, easy to talk to people who work here. They were able to fix my car in a timely manner and it was done right the first time. Another time I had my car stall out in front of my apartments and the mechanic actually came out and diagnosed my car in the parking lot and had it towed to their shop in under an hour and had it fixed shortly after. Every experience I've had here has been stellar; I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a realiable shop to bring their car to.
